The Most Beautiful Beaches in the World

Few travel destinations calm restless minds quite like a beach where land meets the sea. And while all beaches in the world combine the same ingredients of waves, sand, and sky, it’s the endless variations of these constants that keep attracting tourists from around the globe. Here’s a look at the most beautiful beaches in the world to really perk your desires

Saud Beach, Luzon, Philippines
The clean sand, coconut trees, and the dark blue water make Saud Beach in Luzon the perfect beach for virtually everyone. This beach has fewer coral and rock formations as compared to other beaches in the area and it is particularly ideal for those who are looking to get away from the crowds. You will find that it is a less populated area that comes with some great deals on lodging. It is highly recommended that you stay at a small resort near the beach for a more primitive experience.

Elafonissi Beach, Crete, Greece
The release of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again in 2018 brought the buzz back to the stunning Greek Island. While Crete is not as popular or expensive as Santorini or Mykonos, it still offers lots of sand, sun, and history. Elafonissi Beach is situated just off the coast of western Crete. With crystal-clear shallow waters, lined with cedar trees and gray rocks, it’s not surprising why this beach is a popular tourist attraction. The broken red and pink seashells in the sand give this beach it’s iconic hue.

Hanalei Bay, Kauai, Hawaii
There’s something for everyone along the 2 miles of Hanalei Bay on the north shore of Kauai. The bay connects with Hanalei River, which offers perfect conditions for paddle boarding or kayaking during the summer season. Black Pot Beach is situated on the east side of the bay where you can camp if you have the permit. The Hanalei Pier was once a place to load goods such as sugarcane but it has since become a recreation spot for water sports.

Le Morne, Mauritius
Le Morne Beach is situated in southwest Mauritius and offers a stunning view of the Morne Brabant hill as well as the surrounding seascape. As compared to other beaches in Mauritius, Le Morne is not easy to reach. However, once you make the trip, it is incredibly satisfying. It is a relatively uncrowded beach. So, bring a towel and enjoy the unspoiled, tropical climate without having to contend with anyone for space.

Matira Beach, Bora Bora, French Polynesia
While Matira Beach is popular for its blissful relaxation, it holds something for everyone. Thrill seekers can snorkel among rays and sharks in the blue lagoon which is bordered by the diverse barrier reef of the island. Meanwhile, history fanatics can tour the WWII canons that once served as a U.S. military base. Adventure lovers can also take a hike to volcanic peaks that dominate the gorgeous backdrop of this beach.
Any of these beaches are worthy of being placed at the top of any list covering the most beautiful beaches in the world. Fine and clean sand, natural wonder, and great amenities await those who dare to venture forth.
